This was my favorite project I did this summer.

I was part of a wonderful group of women, lead by Author and Artist

Kelcey Ervick

, and we all made visual stories together.

I almost didn’t sign up for this class, but working alongside other visual storytellers and having Kelcey’s guidance really helped me get this story finished. I’ve had it on my heart for a few years and I finally found the mental space to get it finished.

It’s based on a true story my aunt once told me.
